DarkInk Comics is an indie commic book creator who needed a strong brand image around the theme of an ink-phoenix.
"For years, I wanted to tell stories in a graphic novel format, but I didn't know how to get started. I had just a few ideas and a name: Dark Ink. Alan Jones not only encouraged me and gave me direction, but he also designed a logo for the venture that was eye-catching and ingenious, but beautiful in its simplicity. Whenever I need motivation, I look at that logo and feel inspired to do great things. Alan and his work tend to have that effect."
